Major Announcement: A Face for Radio, A Voice for Silent Film, And A Whole Lot of Nerves

A couple months ago, I highlighted Allie Beth Stuckey’s great conversation with Dr. Roger McFillin. Well, if you like this substack, and you haven’t yet subscribed to Dr. McFillin’s Radically Genuine Podcast, this might be the week to do so.

Dr. McFillin and his team, who have a large secular audience worldwide, were familiar with my writing here and at The Federalist, so they knew the chances of a sermon breaking out were high, and they still bravely invited me on, so please do go and subscribe and support them, many other similar outlets would not be comfortable with that kind of conversation. As for whether or not any sermonizing took place, you’ll have to wait and see… (ok, spoiler: yes).

I think that was my first interview in almost thirty years (the local English radio station in Montreal once had some of my classmates and me on the morning drive show when we won a debate competition, so yeah, basically I was a child star). Apologies for the nerves and the rambling, hopefully some coherent points made their way through.
