Just read your Federalist piece, Adrian. Hold off on citizenship as long as you can and avoid the shots. I can’t believe we let people waltz across the border without it but they’re mandating them for legal citizenship? This 🤡🤡 country never fails to disappoint me.

That was wonderful, nurturing food for thought. Thank you for the recommendation.

Schools are now designed to be like prisons. Chain link fences all around, police officers a constant presence, no adults allowed in and god forbid you want to be a volunteer coach or assistant. You will be treated like a criminal and be required to get background checks and fingerprints.

Dang. Over this weekend, I have been simplifying my subscriptions and notifications when you come along and dangle this in front of me.

I have been lingering in the free hinterlands of Esolen for awhile. We are of much “the same vintage” chronologically and spiritually. I have often wondered if he owns the same original InterVarsity hymnal as I do, as he is always commenting on my personal favorites dating back to my college days.

I may need to do at least the 7 day trial to hear this talk you recommend. It is probably one to send along to the Head of (preK - 8th Christian) School which my daughters attended. The school always struggled with its humble facility (a 60s era Baptist church acquired from a dying congregation.) The physical plant often put off prospective upper middle class parents. And yet, it has precisely the qualities cited in the beginning of this essay you are recommending. It is exactly scaled to young children and all the lower classes open out to a courtyard. Time to celebrate our child friendliness it would seem.
