Thank you for linking to this article in today's substack. I don't think I followed you yet back in January, but this article is truly a joyful inspiration for the work at hand. I cannot count the trees that need be felled in Bay Area public schools - we are truly lost in a forest of atheist modernity; but we will continue on, accepting the call and the task with good cheer, as you propose.
Ordered the book, used ~ $7. Matters of faith once were part and parcel of ordinary life to most people. Most religious precepts don't accept moral relativism. Religion taught us certain principles of life and fairness - golden rule at least. Somewhere along the line many lost their belief in a higher power, that we are all accountable for our actions. Since that time many adopted new religions without any accountability - things like woke, but those substitutes provide no guiding principles - lost souls.
I hope people don't misunderstand one of the main points that is also found in the sub-title, "There is No Neutral." The humanist founders of America's public educational system understood this well.
