Thank you, Dr. Gaty, for addressing this growing crisis that the far left has created for our kids. Oh how I miss the simplicity of the 80s and 90s. You could be an athletic tomboy without anyone asking you if you wanted to block your puberty and transition to a boy. There were no cell phones, no social media, just awesome fashion and music, NKOTB included! I went through identity crises as well. But, like you, it was ultimately the Grace of God that saved me and made me realize that He made me just as I am supposed to be. I have three children and am terrified of what's to come with these daily fad crises the left creates. The only solution I have is to instill a strong foundation of faith and gratitude with them. Please keep these insightful posts coming!

Beautifully illustrated! As a people we have more in common than not, and what we do have in common- our souls, the debt of gratitude for the salvation and faith given (while not always embraced)- are being methodically and surgically removed from our thoughts and replaced with poison. You have a way with words and I appreciate you being a light in a dark world.

This reminds me - as the late Luigi Giussani wrote - that I do not make me (despite the American religion of "self made man"), but rather we encounter "You-who-make-me" (see https://www.communio-icr.com/files/SchindlerReformat.pdf). As we beat our head on the wall for the inanity we see around us, reminder for us all that the inanity is the opportunity: https://omnesmag.com/en/newsroom/mundo/interview-fernando-de-haro-giussani/
